This morning, the landlord of the apartment that we are renting called some people to kill his sick dog.  Those people are drunkards/bystanders in the neighborhood. They're craving for dogs...... so they killed the dog by hanging it in the pathway! So horrible~!!!!  I didnt look but I heard the dog cry~~~ it pierced my heart. T___________T  Mom peeked a couple of times to see if they took it out of the way so I can leave for work.  When it became quiet in about 15minutes, that's the only time we left the place.  I kept my eyes down to avoid seeing the poor dog.

I wish those people all die after eating the dog!!!! GRRRR~~~

WHAT?! I can't believe this... or rather, I can believe it a bit too well. Oh yes, it all comes back. People who are cruel with animals always meet their judges. It's a cold comfort concerning the agony that poor animal had to go through though... MAH!!

yeah... and I had to play loud music and stick in my earphones just to avoid hearing the dog's cry.... T__T

i am utterly horrified and my heart is aching for you.

when an ailing animal requires euthanasia, a single, simple injection from the vet helps it move peacefully on.

such barbaric cruelty to a vulnerable old pet is a sickening disgrace. (in my culture, eating a dog is really far, far outside the lines of ok but that's not the issue here -- the cruelty is.) as profoundly upsetting and painful as this is to those like you who know better (and i'm sure you are not the only one who was horrified) maybe this can serve as a spark to focus on getting something done about cruelty, either legally or by organizing and providing humane services. if it were easily accessible that would prevent people from choosing ugly options. also, shame works. do these ppl know enough to be ashamed of themselves for their disgusting cruelty?

please, if you can, turn your pain into good anger and action.

Yep, actually my mom was talking about reporting those people to animal welfare office. but the law that against to animal cruelty isn't that fairly implemented, especially with dogs. I don't know why~

It's awful to treat a living creature with cruelty needlessly, it's also taking advantage of the poor, because really, should they be eating diseased dog?

If it's your landlord, that puts you in an unfair position...but I do think you should report it. Even if the authorities aren't all that trustworthy, you can still feel like you stood up to the rotten people who think it's ok to do horrible things like that.

But I know exactly how nightmarish and enraging that must have felt. I hope the memory of it fades quickly for you!

;_; Naalala ko tuloy nung pinatay si 'Bush', aso namin yun na puti ang color. Masyado kasi siyang naging matapang sa amin and to other people eh yung tito ko alam ko na may galit sa asong yun kaso matapang nga raw. One day may mga nagpunta sa amin na "nangangatay" nga ng aso... eh yung Mama ko may balak na rin naman na tanggalin yung aso na yun sa amin, eh nagkataon pa na mainit ulo ng Mom ko nun so binigay na niya yung aso...

Ang masaklap nga eh pinatay siya in front of my kuya dito lang sa may labas namin so grabe, pati kuya ko sobrang iyak. Nagsisisi talaga Mama ko na ibinigay pa niya yun ;_;
